Dunkin’ Donuts, which typically caters to the coffee connoisseurs, is now serving something for the tea drinkers. The chain is offering a new lineup of premium hot teas in five flavors, each served in pyramid tea sachets containing full leaf teas and herbal infusions.
The Bold Breakfast Black Tea is a bold blend of full leaf black tea.
The Harmony Leaf Green Tea is a vibrant full leaf green tea delivering a delicate earthly flavor.
The Chamomile Fields Herbal Infusion is a caffeine-free herbal infusion featuring chamomile flowers, citrus and herbs.
The Hibiscus Kiss Herbal Infusion is a caffeine-free herbal infusion featuring hibiscus, herbs and natural berry flavors.
The Cool Mint Herbal Infusion is a caffeine-free herbal infusion combining peppermint leaves and natural herbs.
Jack in the Box
Jack in the Box is shaking up its menu with the new Golden Oreo Salted Caramel Shake. The frozen treat features a blend of vanilla ice cream, salted caramel and Golden Oreos all topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
Taco Bell
For the first time, Taco Bell is offering queso. The chain’s new green chili queso, which may be requested as a side to any dish, is served with two new limited-time menu items.
The Steakhouse Burrito features a double portion of grilled marinated steak, sour cream, bacon, potato bites and a three-cheese blend all wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla. The burrito is served with chips and a ramekin of green chili queso.
The Steakhouse Queso Nachos feature a double portion of steak, seasoned beans, three-cheese blend, green chili queso, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo served over a bed of nacho chips.
IHOP
Mint is the holiday flavor of the moment at IHOP. The chain is launching new pancakes and a hot chocolate featuring the fresh flavor.
The Dark Chocolate Peppermint Pancakes consist of chocolate pancakes topped with crushed peppermint, white chocolate chips, a drizzle of hot chocolate and a creamy whipped topping.
The new Frosted Mint Hot Chocolate is a rich hot chocolate flavored with Frosted Mint Syrup and finished with whipped topping.
“The holidays are the perfect time to sit down and enjoy the fun of friends and families, sharing moments together over special foods and treats,” said Kirk Thompson, senior vice-president of marketing for IHOP. “We’re introducing new and exciting flavors that bring you straight to the special moments shared around the holiday table or over tasty new hot chocolates around the fire.”
Starbucks
Starbucks is serving up two new holiday-inspired breakfast sandwiches.
The All the Trimmings Breakfast Sandwich features maple-glazed holiday ham, an apple sausage patty, apple-sage stuffing and savory maple glaze piled onto a buttery bun.
The Carved Ham, Egg and Swiss Breakfast Sandwich features carved maple-glazed ham, Swiss cheese and egg on a croissant bun.
Church's Chicken
Church’s Chicken has joined forces with Cinnabon to serve new Cinnabon Biscuit Bites. The dessert, available in 5-piece and 20-piece portions, features bite-size biscuits with Cinnabon cinnamon topped with a sweet cream cheese glaze.
Subway
Subway is serving two new Reuben sandwiches, both boasting no artificial flavors or colors from artificial sources.
The Corned Beef Reuben features a hearty portion of lean corned beef with a hint of garlic and sweet spices, Bavarian-style sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing served on rye bread.
The Turkey Reuben is made with a double portion of all white meat turkey breast, Bavarian-style sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing all served on rye bread.
Little Caesars
Little Caesars is upping the ante of its stuffed crust pizza with new Pepperoni Stuffed Crust Deep! Deep! Dish Pizza. The pie features the chain’s Detroit-style deep dish pizza topped with pepperoni and bordered with a cheese and pepperoni stuffed crust.
Jamba Juice
Jamba Juice is blending two new smoothies for the holiday season.
The Apple Spiced Cheer Smoothie is made with a blend of apple-strawberry juice, nonfat frozen yogurt and apple cinnamon puree.
The Berry Berry Chocolate Smoothie features the brand’s Chocolate Moo’d base, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, pomegranate juice and nonfat frozen yogurt.
Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza
Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is sweetening its menu with two new desserts, both featuring sweet-and-savory flavor profiles and made in the company’s signature open-flame oven.
The Chocolate Chip Cookie features a sprinkling of English sea salt, while the Decadent Chocolate Brownie features a brushing of extra virgin olive oil.
“When introducing new desserts, I wanted to be sure each one offered a creative twist on a familiar classic,” said Bradford Kent, executive chef of Blaze Pizza. “I expect our guests will quickly find that the sweet and savory flavor combinations are irresistible, and make for a perfect finish to a meal.”
